Capiz media trains on photo journ, AVP

ROXAS City – Members of the tri-media here will train on a one-day photojournalism and audio-video production (AVP) seminar organized by the Capiz Provincial Press Bureau (CPPB) on October 17.

The activity dubbed “Pasiplat 2” aims to help participants produce in-depth photo and video news.

A local dialect which means glimpse, “Pasiplat” was first organized by the CPPB last year when it held an exhibit of more than 80 photos depicting Capiz tourism potentials and cultural events.

This is an opportunity for the various media practitioners to refresh and learn new ideas on photo and video coverage to make them more capable to do their job as broadcast journalists,” said CPPB chief Eduardo Basilonia.

About 40 participants that will also include CPPB reporters, writers, cameramen and bloggers are expected to attend the seminar – workshop. (Alex Lumaque/PIA)
