The quiz is one of the highlights of the Cooperative Month celebration in the province.
CDA–Capiz Provincial Cooperative Development Officer Proceso A. Berano Jr. said a tandem of male and female contestants will represent Capiz’s 16 towns and city.
The quiz will focus on the cooperative laws and operations, he said.
The culmination activities will be graced by Senator Cynthia Villar and Coop-NATTCO Partylist Rep. Anthony Bravo/CDA regional director lawyer Arnel D. Agrasada and some provincial, municipal and city officials will also attend the provincewide gathering of cooperative workers.
Cooperative updates will also be conveyed by CDA regional office during the assembly which will be capped by the awarding of plaques and prizes to the guests and contest winners.
Sangguniang Panlalawigan member and Provincial Cooperative Development Council (PCDC) chairperson Aldwin Cruz-am will lead the awarding activity.
The month-long celebration has the theme “Kooperatiba: Maaasahan sa Pagsulong ng Kabuhayan at Kapayapaan ng Bayan.” (PIA6/Alex A. Lumaque)
