The national women’s volleyball team pulled off a five-set victory against a Brazillian volleyball club on Tuesday night (Wednesday in the Philippines) in Brazil.
The Pinay volleybelles scored a 25-13, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17, 15-9 win over reigning Brazil Serie C Bronze Medalist Sesi Sorocaba.
This served as a bounce back for the Philippine squad after only winning one of the five sets in their tune up game last week against Sao Caetano.
The national women’s volleyball team are currently in Brazil as part of their build up for the 31st Southeast Asian Games next month in Hanoi, Vietnam.
