F2 Logistics PVL debut season was a learning experience

F2 Logistics head coach Benson Bocboc is looking on the positive side of things following the Cargo Movers' unexpected sixth-place exit in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

Among other things, Bocboc -- who called the shots in Ramil De Jesus' absence -- pointed out the performance of the team's second-stringers as one of the silver linings that the team can carry over to the next conference.

"Pag mga ganito naman, pagdadaanan talaga nating lahat 'yan," said Bocboc.

"So, manalo 'man or matalo, we'll learn from those mistakes or yung kakulangan para next conference we have the drive and [malaman] natin kung ano yung kailangan natin to compete with the other teams in the PVL," he added.

Despite not having Kalei Mau, F2 Logistics was still seen as a title contender heading into the 2022 Open Conference after its dominant sweep of the PNVF Champions League last year.

Unfortunately, the team failed to meet expectations as they got eliminated as early as the quarterfinals against eventual grand finalist Petro Gazz.

To add salt to the wound, the Cargo Movers -- who won its first two games of the conference -- ended the tournament on a four-game losing streak.

"For sure nakita natin yung kailangan i-adjust ng team so aside from of course losing some old players and getting new ones, I think we need more time to bond in terms of putting up a system that is effective for everyone," he said.

"So medyo kinapos pero hopefully by next conference we can do better."
