Creamline Cool Smashers will not have Alyssa Valdez in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference tentatively set to kick off hostilities on Feb. 16.
The former Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles’ absence for the Cool Smashers was due to her commitment with the Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10.

Valdez is still to return to Bahay ni Kuya after finishing among the top two housemates in the Celebrity edition to compete with top two housemates from the Adult and Teens edition.
The Open Conference will run through three months, featuring a single round robin preliminaries with the Top 4 clashing in a pair of best-of-three semifinal series. Winners will dispute the crown.
The Open Conference tournament is set at either the Paco Arena Events and Sports Center in Manila or at Royale Tagaytay under a full bubble setup.
