The Philippine Information Agency reported that Tanco said that the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) should be added to the Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) of a local government unit to wisely utilize the pork barrel and for it to surely benefit the public.
It should be proportionately distributed to the LGUs based on population and land areas instead of implementing it based on the lone discretion of the legislator, he said.
Last Friday, more than 300 students joined the members of various church groups in Capiz in the nationwide simultaneous prayer rally calling for the abolition of PDAF.
