ROXAS CITY – Some 111 Capizeño farmers recently received Collapsible Dryer Cases (CDC) distributed by the provincial government through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) under the Department of Agriculture (DA) at ESLA in Brgy. Lanot here.
Provincial Agriculturist I Sylvia Dela Cruz said 200 farmers from various farmers and irrigators association in the province joined the demonstration and training from representatives of GrainPro, Inc. Only 111 beneficiaries received the farming inputs.
The unqualified farmers can still process their requirements to avail of the inputs.
The Collapsible Dyer Cases given to farmers is 75 square meters wide and can hold 30-35 sacks of agricultural products. It is made of heavy duty nylon and has 3 zippers on side to safeguard and waterproof the seeds and food commodities during rainy seasons. (Amelyn Oropio/CPPB)
