The Creamline Cool Smashers flaunted their dominant form against the BaliPure Purest Water Defenders to win in straight sets, 25-12, 25-21, 25-16, in the 2022 PVL Open Conference on Monday at the Paco Arena.
Tots Carlos anchored the dominating performance of Creamline with 14 points as they improved to a 2-0 record in Pool B.
Right from the first possession of the game, the Cool Smashers had clicked on all ends of the floor with their powerful spikes and fast serves that easily turned to points.
The Sherwin Meneses-mentored Creamline also took advantage of BaliPure's lackluster offensive formations to assert their vaunted defensive adjustments for the victory.
Patty Orendain was the top scorer for the Purest Water Defenders with six points.
With their victory, Creamline and first game winner Petro Gazz are assured of a twice-to-beat quarterfinals advantage in Pool B owing to their undefeated slate after two games.
The two stacked squads will battle for the bracket's top spot on Wednesday.
BaliPure remains winless, like fellow Pool B cellar dweller PLDT.
