Volleyball stars Alyssa Valdez and Jaja Santiago headline the 20-player pool of the Philippine women's national volleyball team for the Hanoi Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) slated from May 12 to 23 released by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation on Sunday.

Julia Morado, who, like Valdez, was also not included in the Philippine club teams that competed in the Asian Women's Club Championship last October, is now added in the national pool which also has Iris Tolenada, Jasmine Nabor, Deanna Wong and Dawn Macandilli.

Kat Arado, Dell Palomata, Ria Meneses, Aby Maraño, Ces Molina, Kalei Mau, Kat Tolentino, Jema Galanza, Casiey Dongallo, Kim Dy, Mylene Paat, Jelaica Gajero and Dindin Santiago-Manabat are also part of the pool.

Head coaching the team is Brazilian Jorge Edson Souza De Brito.

The Philippine women's volleyball team looks to eclipse its last place finish (fourth) in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games held in Manila.

Meanwhile, John Vic De Guzman and Bryan Bagunas banner the 20-player pool for the PH men's national team.

Kim Malabunga, Ysrael Wilson Marasigan, Rex Intal, John Paul Bugaoan, Francis Phillip Saura, Jessie Lopez, Manuel Sumanguid 3rd, Kim Harold Dayandante, Ave Joshua Retamar, Joeven Dela Vega, Marck Jesus Espejo and Jack Kalingking are also in the pool.

Completing the list are, Mark Gil Alfafara, Angelo Nicolas Almendras, Ricky Marcos, Lloyd Josafat, Joshua Umandal and Ish Polvorosa.

The pool of players for the national men's and women's beach volleyball teams are also released.

Veterans Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons lead the list for the women's pool also composed of Floremel Rodriguez, Genesa Jane Eslapor, Jozza Mae Cabalsa, Jovelyn Gonzaga, Nerissa Bautista and Baby Love Barbon. Serving as their head coach is Paul Jan Doloiras with Romnick Rico as assistant.

Jaron Requinton, Anthony Lemuel Arbastro Jr., Jude Garcia, James Buytrago, Alnakran Abdilla, Philip Michael Bagalay, Pol Gringo Salvador, Jeffer Guerrero make up the list for the men's pool.
