It's all business for the BaliPure Water Defenders as the revamped squad enter a bubble camp in Pampanga to gear up for the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2020 season that opens on March 16.

The squad on Saturday posted about their arrival at the Colegio de Sebastian in San Fernando, Pampanga, where they will hold their bubble training with newly-acquired Jho Maraguinot leading the pack.

Maraguinot joined BaliPure late last month after her former team, the Perlas Spikers, decided to take an indefinite leave of absence from the league.

Alongside the former Ateneo standout, Jamie Lavitoria, Alyssa Eroa, Janine Marciano, Julia Ipac, Rafril Aguilar, Marian Buitre, and Patty Orendain also inked a deal with the Water Defenders in the off-season recruitment.

Alina Bicar, who had a short stint with Petro Gazz in the PNVF Champions League, will also make her return, joining holdovers Graze Bombita, Bern Flora, Gyra Barroga, Gen Casugod, and Sati Espiritu.

BaliPure will try to eclipse their eighth place finish during the 2021 Open Conference, where they finished with a 3-6 card.
