The NorthPort Batang Pier has dealt Vic Manuel to San Miguel Beermen in exchange for Arwind Santos.
The deal came 48 hours after NorthPort acquired the 34-year old Manuel and wingman Michael Calisaan from Phoenix on Friday. In return, The Fuel Masters received Anthony, the 2019 top Defensive Player, sophomore Sean Manganti, and a 2021 second round draft pick.
Santos, who was selected by Air 21 in the first round (2nd overall) of the 2006 Annual Draft, won nine championships with the Beermen.
He was named MVP in 2013 and Finals MVP in the 2011 Governors' Cup and 2015 Philippine Cup.
The trade has been approved by the PBA Commissioner's Office.
