Magnolia Pambansang Manok finished off Meralco, 93-85, in the sixth game of their semifinal series Friday, Oct. 15 to secure a spot in the PBA Philippine Cup Finals at the Don Honorio Ventura State University in Bacolor, Pampanga.
While Ian Sangalang produced another double-double, it was the play of Rome dela Rosa, Jio Jalalon and Justin Melton on both ends that had a big part in the Hotshots securing their third Finals appearance in the last four editions of the All-Filipino tournament.
The Hotshots now await the winner of the other semis duel between the San Miguel Beermen and TNT Tropang Giga which is deadlocked at 3-3 going into their deciding seventh game on Sunday.
