CapSU gets P5M for students’ tuition

ROXAS City — The provincial government gave P5 million to the Capiz State University for the tuition of all Pag-ulikid scholars in the province.

The amount will serve as full payment for the scholars’ tuition for the first semester of school year 2012–2013.

Of the amount, P2,673,940 went to the university’s campus in Dumarao; P1,304,545, Sapian; P1,015,220, Burias, Mambusao; and P23,180 to Pilar campus.

Gov. Victor Tanco Sr. gave the check for the amount to Dr. Herminia Gomez, the university’s vice president for academic affairs, at the Governor’s Mansion in Brgy. Lanot here the other day.
