ROXAS CITY — The provincial government received a mobile clinic from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Friday, February 10, which served as an early “Valentine gift” from the agency.

A PCSO satellite office was also put up at the Capiz Provincial Capitol.

Francisco “Pancho” Joaquin, PCSO director, personally turned over the equipment to the Gov. Victor Tanco.

Vice Gov. Esteban Evan Contreras and the Provincial Board members witnessed the turnover.
The establishment of the satellite office and the mobile clinic will pave way to a faster access to health services of PCSO, said Tanco in a message.

“With the mobile clinic, Capiceños from far-flung areas can even be reached by (PCSO) services,” he said.

“Those who seek financial assistance from PCSO need not worry anymore [on] how to get [to] Manila and voice out their financial constraints,” Tanco said.

PCSO officials will continue to uphold its mission and vision by giving hope and safeguarding the health of the people, especially the poor, the governor stressed.

Tanco said the provincial government believes that constituents who are in good health are productive and happy (Felipe V. Celino/PN)
