Capiz prov’l gov’t retirees honored

ROXAS City — The Capiz provincial government honored its retirees during a tribute dubbed “Pre-Retirement Orientation and Pasalamat … Paalam Program 2014” on July 4 at MVW Hotel and Restaurant here.

Each retiree received a token and a certificate of recognition.

Gov. Victor A. Tanco lauded the retirees for their dedication in helping the provincial government achieve its mission of carrying out development programs and projects for Capiceños.

Eleven out of 30 retirees this year have officially retired from the service as of this writing: Manuel A. Cortel, Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH); Lorna B. Delapeña, RMPH; Lilia Elsa A. Bartolome, RMPH; Rosalinda L. Francisco, RMPH; Virginia B. Lauron, Office of the Provincial Veterinarian; Elmerto P. Dilao, Bailan District Hospital (BDH); Lucita T. Comorro, BDH; Mercedes D. Albana, BDH; Alicia Q. Castro, Sen. Gerardo Manuel Roxas Memorial District Hospital; Manuela A. Besana, Provincial Planning and Development Office; and Ariston A. Faunillo, Provincial General Services Office.

The remaining retirees still report for work while awaiting their retirement date.
