The Capiz Government and Business Center, one of the most ambitious projects of Capiz officials led by Gov. Victor A. Tanco will be blessed and inaugurated on April 13, 2012 (10:30 a.m.). The new landmark changes the face of Roxas City and sets the tone for higher standard of public service in Capiz.

The imposing edifice, located on San Roque Extension corner Fuentes Drive in Roxas City, was constructed using the most modern architectural technologies, according to OIC-Capiz provincial engineer Edgar Agana.
The structure is equipped with an elevator.

The structure, which would house government and private establishments, has three stories and 104 rooms or spaces for rent. Forty-two of these spaces can be found on the ground floor, 39 on the second floor and 23 on the third floor.

The third floor will house national government offices.

The Center has an area of 3,400 square meters and is situated in a lot owned by the provincial government. It was constructed at a budget of P209,999,840.88.

The building also speaks well of the foresight and achievement of the Capiz provincial government under Gov. Victor A. Tanco.

To be blessed and inaugurated alongside the Business and Government Center are the Provincial Crime Laboratory, which was constructed at a lot located at the back portion of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Capiz, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) building adjacent to the Capiz Provincial Park.

The crime lab has an area of 94.50 sq. m. and has a budget of P1.6-million. It is said to be the first of its kind in Panay Island.

The DILG building, on the other hand, stands at a 444 sq.m. government-owned lot. It has a budget of P7,314,530.31. (Publicity and Promotions Committee, CAPIZtahan 2012)
